St Lucia is among the Windward Islands in the middle of the Eastern Caribbean, south of Martinique and northwest of Barbados. The capital is Castries in the north west of St Lucia, which is twenty-seven miles long and fourteen miles wide with a central mountain range the entire length of the island with tops as high as 3000feet and. It's the fusion of mountains, forests, low lying land, tiny coastal fishing hamlets, and beaches that makes plenty of folk select a St Lucia Holiday . The mountains are
forested and the lush lower slopes have splurges of color thanks to
the jasmine, scarlet chenille, and wild orchids. Doubtless the most
famed landmarks in St Lucia are the two soaring volcano cones on the
south west coast called the Twin Pitons which are the most amazing
sight particularly at dusk. St Lucia's climate is tropical with
temperatures varying between seventy degrees to ninety degrees
Fahrenheit, with rain from June to Nov and reasonably dry between
December in May. St Lucia has a lot of accommodation selections to
suit most pockets and tastes. St Lucia is a wonderful place for a family vacation which can include any number of land and water-based activities, including though not limited to play golf, tennis, cricket, table tennis, biking, pony riding, and deep sea fishing, windsurfing, sailing, para sailing, and waterskiing. Water-based activities are definitely a huge part of any St Lucia Holiday , particularly when you concentrate on the white sand beaches, and lovely inviting turquoise blue sea. As well as all of that there are places to go to like the attractive Marigot Bay, Maria Islands Nature reserve, Whale and turtle watching, to name a couple. Eating out in St Lucia is a treat
because St Lucians enjoy their food, so this rationally means there
are a big number of cafes on the island. The cuisine is most
fittingly described as a mixture of International and Creole, where
fresh regional goods plays a massive part.
